FAQ
I’m super private and don’t want my photos on your website or Instagram. Can that be arranged?
Absolutely. Your comfort comes first. I totally get not wanting your face on the internet. Just a heads-up: since I won’t be able to use your session to show future clients what I do, there’s a small extra fee of 50 CAD to cover that loss of promo potential. But yes — fully private sessions are 100% an option!
Do you use AI?
Short answer: yes, but responsibly. I use AI tools in Lightroom and Photoshop for small things like removing rogue trash cans or fixing a wonky background — the kind of stuff you wouldn’t even notice unless I didn’t fix it. I don’t use AI to edit your face beyond basic retouching, and I will never submit your photos to any AI training database. Pinky swear.
What if I don’t like how I look in the photos?
Oof, I get it. We’re all our own worst critics (shoutout to my chin again). I promise I put a ton of care into posing, lighting, and capturing your best angles, and I only deliver images I’m personally proud of. That said, everyone sees themselves a little differently — I can’t guarantee you’ll love every single image, but I do my very best to make sure you feel confident and seen.
What kind of props do you use?
I’m a “less is more” kind of photographer when it comes to props — nature already does a lot. Sometimes I bring small DIY props I’ve made, but for the most part, we use what’s around us: tree stumps, wildflowers, a really aesthetic stick. That said, if you have a vision or a prop idea you’re excited about, message me! I’m always down to brainstorm.
How many people can I bring to my group/family session?
Standard sessions are priced for up to 8 people. More than that turns into a bit more of a crowd-control situation, so it’s an additional $20 CAD per extra person beyond that. Gotta keep the chaos cute and manageable.
What if the weather turns bad — can we reschedule?
You can reschedule or cancel up to 2 full days before your shoot. That said... I actually love unpredictable weather. Unless we’re talking tornado warnings, I say let’s roll with it. Rain, fog, snow — they can all make for insanely cool, moody, and totally one-of-a-kind photos. Trust me, clouds are underrated.
I booked a 30-minute session, but we’re late, the kids are melting down, or we’re just vibing and don’t want to stop. What now?
If I don’t have another shoot lined up right after yours, we can totally upgrade your session on the spot. Just ask me if I’ve got the time that day. More time = more photos = more good stuff.
